Step 1. Open up Settings app on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch.

Step 2. Tap Messages

Step 3. Now, turn on iMessage, then tap “Use your Apple ID for iMessage

Step 4. Enter your Apple ID and Password, and Tap Sign In.
