Apple iOS 14.7 updates released with all features and bug fixes, Some of the features are working great but certain settings are missing or grayed out so I can’t use them.

from all of them, one setting is Allow apps to request to track. users are reporting setting toggle is grayed out since updated to iOS 14.7.

Still, there is no a proper idea to

fix Allow apps to request to track Phone settings workable.

but according to me,

if you have a company email account on file on your phone, or is your device account under Mobile Device Management from a school or business, or do you live in a country where cross-app tracking is prohibited?

because of all these things are matters to block app tracking etc. with this feature turned on Facebook gets a report of every app that you use on the phone and what you do in it? everything.

The other possibility is in Settings/Screen Time/Content & Privacy Restrictions, under Privacy, Advertising.

Possible Solution – Sign out on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

signed out iCloud and Sign in Back on your device will fix your Allow apps to request to track greyed out.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap on your name Apple ID Card.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom. Tap Sign Out.sign-out-apple-id-account-on-iphone-settings
  4. Now Enter your Apple ID password, and tap Turn Off.sign-out-apple-id-from-iphone-settings
  5. Turn on the data that you want to keep a copy of on your device.
  6. Tap Sign Out.
  7. Tap Sign Out again to confirm that you want to sign out of iCloud.

Sign In Apple ID

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap on your name Apple ID Card.
  3. Enter Appl ID and Password to Sign in again.

That’s it.

Now open Settings > Tap Privacy > Tracking > Try to enable or disable toggle Allow App to Request to Track.
