I have seen many iPhone users complaining about the battery widget not showing on iPhone, the battery widget not showing on Airpods, airpod case battery doesn’t show up in widget, and more. When I updated my iPhone 15 Pro a few days, it worked well, and suddenly, the same problem caught my iPhone too. Fixing the battery widget not showing on iPhone/iPad is very simple. Sometimes it is resolved by a simple restart, and sometimes you must perform a few steps.

Let’s get to the solution and hope your iPhone’s battery widget works properly. Also, iOS Update allows to Show Battery Percentage on the iPhone lock screen.

Troubleshooting steps to Get Battery Widget Missing Back on iPhone, iPad

After Restore, Reset All Settings, Setup New iPhone Never shows the Battery Widget under the Widgets panel. You must connect At least one Bluetooth device to activate bluetooth to activate the bluetooth widget. Solution #1: Re-Add Battery Widget on your iPhone or iPad

We have different customization settings for adding the Battery widget on the iPhone Today widget or Home screen with different layouts of the Battery Widget,

To Add a Battery widget on the Home screen

  1. Press and hold on to the screen to access edit mode.
  2. Tap the + icon on the top-left side.
  3. Scroll the screen to tap Batteries (in not showing, please go to solution number #2)

  2. So the battery widget lands on the home screen; finally, tap on the Done button to exit the edit mode.

Steps to add battery widget on iPhone lock Screen,

Follow the bottom steps to show the battery widget on the lock screen iPhone. You must have the latest iOS on your iPhone.

  1. Unlock your Phone, and pull down the screen from the left side corner to access the lock screen.
  2. Tap and hold on the screen to get the edit mode view.
  3. Choose Customize button.
  4. Tap Lock Screen

  3. Now let’s tap or drag the batteries widget.
  4. Tap the (X) mark button, and once again tap on (X).

Steps to add battery widget in Today Widget Screen,

Step #1. To access the today widget screen, Swipe your finger on the iPhone home screen to the left.
Step #2. Scroll down the screen to tap on the Edit button.

Step #3. Now tapping on the + button.
Step #4. Now scroll the screen to find the batteries option.
Step #5. Tap Add Widget after choosing your desired battery widget style.

Step #6. last, you can drag and drop the battery widget on your Today view screen, drag it to the home screen, and tap on Done to save.

Solution #2: Connect Bluetooth Device to get back the Battery Widget

For the New iPhone or iPad user Battery Widget will not show under the Widget panel. To Activate This Widget, your iPhone/iPad must be connected with one Bluetooth accessory, which might be Apple Pencil, Airpods, Headphone, Bluetooth Speaker, or Apple Watch. Follow the below steps. (Battery Widget will be removed after resetting all settings, Factory Reset, upgrade to new iOS/iPadOS sometimes)

Step #1. Open the Settings app.
Step #2. Tap Bluetooth to turn the Bluetooth toggle ON/ Green.

Step #4. Tap on the Bluetooth device name. Wair for a few seconds, Once it Connected.
Step #5. Go back and check the iPhone/iPad Widget panel in edit mode.

If the battery widget is inactive, tap on the plus sign to make it active, and show it under the Widgets panel of the iPhone, or iPad.

Before getting started following the steps, Try to pair your Bluetooth device to your iPhone. Then try to check its battery percentage in the batteries widget.

Turn your bluetooth device and put it into pairing mode, after that, turn iPhone or iPad Bluetooth toggle turn on to connect the desired device, such as Apple Pencil, Bluetooth Keyboard, Airpods, Bluetooth headphones, etc.

Now time to check the widgets list and find the batteries widget. Still battery widget has disappeared, from the list; please follow the next clue.

Solution #3. Hard Reboot your iPhone

  1. Step #1: Press and quickly release the Volume Up key.
  2. Step #2: Press and quickly release the Volume Down key.
  3. Step #3: Hold down the Side key and release it when you encounter the Apple logo on the screen.

Solution #4: Reset All Settings on Your Device

By mistake, if you have made some settings on your iPhone which might be affecting the battery widget then it can be resolved by resetting all settings. Here you can get what happens if reset all settings on your iPhone.

Step #1. Go to the “Settings” app
Step #2. Tap “General
Step #3. Scroll the screen to tap on “Transfer or Reset iPhone”

Solution #5: Update Software on iPhone

If none of the above works for your iPhone battery widget not showing on the latest iOS, wait for the updates. Meanwhile, you can check if an update is available or not.

  1. Open “Settings
  2. Tap “General.”
  3. Tap “Software Update” and then Download and Install.
