Enable Preserve Settings to Disable live Photos permanently on iPhone

Step 1. Open the Settings App on your iPhone home screen.
Step 2. Scroll down the screen to tap on Camera.

Step 3. Now, Under the Camera label Tap Preserve Settings.
Step 4. Turn toggle to the left side next to the Live Photo. So finally, you will be able to take proper photos! Because of this feature has been a pain.

Here, you can see there are three options mentioned below.

Photo Filter: Preserve the last filter, such as Chrome, rather than automatically reset to None

Camera Model: Preserve the last mode, such as Video or Square, rather than automatically reset to Photo.

So this turned off your Live Photo will stay off in the camera app until you did not disable Preserve Settings.

Live Photo ON under this Preserve setting means just a way to disable Live Photo in the camera app, and it doesn’t uninstall the entire feature out of the software.

Enable Photos App to Disable live Photos permanently on Mac

1. Open the Photos App on your Mac computer.

  1. This works, sort of, but is far from permanent. Even with these settings in place, Live turns back on. I need a way to destroy it forever!
