1. Is FaceTime Down?

Then, find FaceTime, and if there’s a Green Symbol with Available status, FaceTime is working else; it might be down. Wait for few minutes and recheck; if it is down, else move to the next solution.

2. Check Internet Connection

To use FaceTime, the internet connection must be stable and with sufficient bandwidth. In case of bad internet connectivity, FaceTime might show a green screen while connecting calls.

8. Sign Out and Sign In to FaceTime

This is only for Mac. You can sign out of Apple ID from FaceTime and sign in back. If there’s an issue with Apple ID and FaceTime, doing this will work and fix the green screen on FaceTime easily.

  1. In your Mac, launch FaceTime.
  2. Click on Preferences in the top menu bar.
  3. Select Sign Out.
  4. Restart the Mac.
  5. Follow the same steps, and Sign In back to FaceTime.
