Solution 1: For Reboot or Hard Reset iPhone

Press and Hold Below buttons until you see the Apple logo on Screen,

iPhone 8 Plus/8 Plus:

1: Press and Quickly Release Volume Up button,
2: Press and Quickly Release Volume Down Button,
3: Press and Hold Side Button until you see the Apple logo on Screen.

To Start the iPhone, Again press the Side button until the startup apple logo on the screen.

iPhone 6S and Earlier: Sleep/Wake + Home button

iPhone 7/7: Sleep/Wake + Volume Down button

Press and Hold Below buttons on iPhone 7/7, iPhone 8 Plus/8 Plus: Sleep/Wake + Volume Down button, until you see the apple logo on Screen.

Now turn on iPhone, Press Sleep/Wake, or Side button once.

Solution 2: Calibrate the Home Button

This one actually works. Since the iPhone 8 Home Button Not Responding, calibrating it would be your first choice. It doesn’t need any expertise or technician to do, just do what is mentioned below.

  1. Launch any of the stock apps such as Notes, Messages, or any other app.
  2. Next, press and hold the Power button until the Slide to power off appears.
  3. Now, hold down the Home button until the app closes and the iPhone takes you to the home screen.

Solution 3: Connect to Power Source (Use Apple’s Lightning Cable)

Go to the Settings > General > Home Button > Choose your Click (1, 2 or 3). Next test home button intensity by place your finger on a home button. Select and Save.
