    1. This did not tell me how to delete a holiday from my us holiday calendar on my iPad. I do not want to delete the entire calendar. I only want to delete certain holidays that are not, in fact, legal us holidays!

      • Me too! I have no need for holidays for religions of which I am not a part. My calendar is full enough as it is. Can’t find an answer anywhere.

    2. I totally agree! I don’t want earth day or April fools, etc. I only want major ones. Please update this request, Apple!

        • I have issue with holidays I do not follow, don’t need to know of, which are crowding my calendar. Why can’t the consumer have a say into what specific holidays show in the application? Unacceptable.

    3. From apple support site
On your iOS device, go to the Calendar app and tap Calendars. Scroll down to Other and tap or to turn the holiday calendar on or off. The name of the holiday calendar indicates which country or region will be displayed. You might need to refresh your calendar after you make changes in order to see the changes. Go to the Calendar app and tap Inbox. Then slowly swipe down from the top of your screen.

On your Mac, go to Calendar > Preferences > General. Then click “Show Holidays calendars” to turn it on or off. If the holiday calendar is turned on, but you don’t see it, click the Calendars button in the upper-left corner of the Calendar app. Make sure that the holiday calendar under Other is selected. You can also go to the Calendar app, click Calendars, then select or deselect US Holidays. You might need to refresh your calendar after you make changes in order to see the changes. Go to Calendar > View > Refresh Calendars.

      • This turns off the entire calendar. We want to remove specific fake holidays from the cake dar but keep valid holidays. Why is this so difficult? The Politically correct crowd needs to stay out of our calendars.
