Here’s How You Can Replace Apple Maps with Google Maps on Apple CarPlay,
Step #1: If your iPhone is not updated to iOS 12 then update it along with update Google Maps to the latest version.
Step #2: On your iPhone, open “Settings” app.
Step #3: Tap “General”.
Step #4: Select “CarPlay”.
Step #5: Tap on your Car name that shows in the list.
Step #6: On the second page you will find “Google Maps”.
Step #7: Touch and hold on Google Maps and move to the Home Screen or First Screen of CarPlay.
Move or Organize app icon on CarPlay’s home screen “Touch and hold any icon on the home screen, then drag it to the desired location”
Meanwhile, if you want to remove the Apple Maps from the Home Screen, you can tap and hold on the Apple Maps and move to the second page.
