iOS 17.1.1: How to Update Snapchat and Instagram on iPhone 2023

Instagram and Snapchat, regularly releases update when introducing new features, or fixing bug and to make the app fast. If you look carefully, there’s a huge competition between Instagram and Snapchat, since most of the functionalities are commonly available in both apps. The recent update on Instagram added various face filters, while Snapchat users got new Bitmojis and Group Chats. So ultimately, if you want to use the latest functions and abilities of any app, keeping them up to date is your primary task.

While Apple is also constantly making changes, with iOS 13 or later, the way to update Apps has been changed, as the Update tab is removed. However, it’s not that trickier, this tutorial will show you how to update Snapchat and Instagram on the iPhone. Trick 1: How to Update Snapchat or Instagram App on iPhone

For iOS 13 or later,

  1. Launch the App Store on your phone, if you are unable to find the App Store, the swipe down the screen and make the search for the App Store from the Spotlight.
  2. Then, look for your Profile picture or whatever image you’ve used on the upper-right corner. Make sure to select the Today tab, and then tap on the Profile icon.Update Snapchat App on iphone iOS
  3. Scroll down, until you see Snapchat.
  4. Tap Update next to Snapchat.

Search with App name on App Store Search box, Open App Store on iPhone > Tap on the Search box > In a Result you will get list of apps related to your search Or Type App name > Update available will see Update button instead of Open option.

That’s it.

For iOS 12 or earlier,

  1. Open the App Store on iOS devices.
  2. Select the Update tab.
  3. Tap Update All or Update next to the Snapchat app.

Trick 2: How to Update Instagram on iPhone

For iOS 13 or later,

  1. Navigate to the App Store on iPhone. Use Spotlight search to access App Store.
  2. Tap on your Profile icon, located on the upper-right screen.
  3. From that screen, you can update all the apps one-by-one.
  4. Locate Instagram and tap Update.

For iOS 12 or earlier,

  1. Go to the App Store.
  2. Tap on the Update, Tab at beneath of the iPhone screen.
  3. Find the Update Snapchat or select Update All.

How to Turn on Automatic Updates on iPhone

Instead of updating apps manually, why not enable Automatic Updates on the iPhone. Whenever the app update is available, and iPhone is connected to the internet, the app will be updated automatically.

  1. Open the Settings
  2. Tap on your name’s banner.
  3. Select the iTunes & App Store.

  • Toggle Automatic Downloads to On, under Cellular Data.

  • Hard Reboot your iPhone.
  • Software Update your iPhone. Settings app on iOS/iPadOS > General > Software Update > Download and Install.

  • Delete and Re-Install App. Touch and Hold on App icon > Delete App from Popup and Re-Download from App Store. This tricks helpful if you missing some app settings and Core Update is not updating your iPhone’s root folder.
  • Wait & Watch. Sometime Geo location-based apps update will not come in your iOS device, In this case you have to wait for the next day. For Ex: FaceBook Dark mode update was limited to people in the USA, But now available worldwide.
