On Mac
Close iTunes at first,
1: Go to the Apple menu from the top right corner.
2: Click on System Preference; Find “Terminal” or Type Terminal in Spotlight search.
3: Type the command below,
defaults write com.apple.iTunes DeviceBackupsDisabled -bool true
Tap enter to run the command, Now Auto backup stops automatically on Sync with iTunes.
Turn on Auto-backup again, and then go with the below command,
defaults write com.apple.iTunes DeviceBackupsDisabled -bool false
On Windows
Open command prompt, Depends on 32 or 64 Bit system run below command,
For 32 bit:
“C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe” /setPrefInt AutomaticDeviceBackupsDisabled 1
For 64 bit:
“C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes\iTunes.exe” /setPrefInt AutomaticDeviceBackupsDisabled 1
