Step 1: Enable Two-Factor Authentication

On iOS Devices,

For iOS 10.3 or Later,

Note: The Apple ID is by default protected with Two-Factor Authentication if you’ve created it in macOS 10.12.4 or iOS 10.3 and later.

For macOS Catalina or Later,

  1. Click on the Apple icon on the upper menu.
  2. Select System Preferences.

For macOS Mojave or Earlier,

  • Click on Apple
