iPhone 12 was the fourteenth generation of the iPhones and succeeded the iPhone 11. There are three iPhone 12 in terms of storage, the 64 GB variant, 128 GB, and 256 GB variants. 

The iPhone 12 is available in 6 variant colors: Black, White, Product Red, Green, Blue, and Purple. The phone’s design is the first significant redesign from iPhone X. This phone was the first iPhone model supplied without an Earpods or wall adapter. The company aimed to reduce carbon emissions and other wastes as most iPhone users already have them. 

The iPhone 12 has a 6.1 display with Super Retina XDR OLED technology. The resolution of this screen is 2532×1170 pixels. The phone comes with Ceramic Shield, an improved glass covering, and the company claims it to have “4 times better drop performance”. Two powerful rear cameras back the phone, one of which is wide and the other is ultra-wide. Both the rear cameras have night mode for both photos and videos. iPhone 12 runs on ios 14 and comes with inbuilt apps like Safari, Facetime, Messages and Weather. 

When Did The iPhone 12 Come Out?

The iPhone 12 was unveiled for the first time on October 13, 2020, at an Apple special event held virtually because of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. The pre-orders for iPhone 12 started on October 16, and the phone was available in most countries, including the USA, UK, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, on October 23, 2020. In India, the iPhone 12 was available from October 30, 2020. 

The iPhone 12 received a lot of praises from critics as well as users. For example, the American technology news website The Verge called the iPhone 12 a beautiful, powerful and capable device.
