Tired of manually downloading every song you add to Apple Music? With iOS 26, your iPhone or iPad can now automatically download songs for offline listening—no extra taps needed. Here’s how to set it up in seconds.

Steps for Auto Download Apple Music Song Offline on iPhone, iPad

Once Auto Download is enabled for Apple Music, your iPhone or iPad will automatically download any song you add to your library.

The settings to download the Apple Music Songs offline on iPhone and iPad has changed a bit. You can download the Apple Music songs in several different ways, learn how to do download.

  1. Go to the Settings app on iPhone/iPad.
  2. Scroll to Apps.
  3. On this screen, find and tap on Music.
  4. Turn the toggle on/green next to Automatic Downloads Option.

That’s it.

Steps to follow in Apple Music App

  1. Launch the Music App.
  2. Go to the Album or Song that you want to download on iPhone.
  3. Tap on the Download button to Add it to the Library.
  4. Or Download Song as shown in the sample image.

    See the full list of all downloaded songs that will be managed under

    1. Open the Settings app
    2. Scroll the screen find and tap Music
    3. Click on Downloaded Music
    4. Now Slide right to delete the song.

    Optimize storage from the Apple Music app. The Optimize storage enabled option will remove songs automatically when storage space is too low.
