If the screen is turning off again and again, then the software is crashing. So this can be solved by Hard Resetting the device.

Step #1: Press and release the volume up key.

Step #2: Press and release the volume down key.

Step #3: Press and hold the power key until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

Still, if it isn’t responding then there may be a problem with hardware. So we will connect the device to the computer through a lightning cable and then launch the iTunes.

Backup your device

When you are fixing the device, then it is advisable to take a backup. Otherwise, you may lose all your data stored on the iPhone. There are two ways of taking backup.

Using iCloud

NOTE: Internet connection is needed if you are using iCloud for taking backup.

Step 1: Go to “Settings”.
Step 2: Click on “iCloud” and then tap on “Backup”.
Step 3: Check the toggle of iCloud backup is turned on
Step 4: Hit the “Back Up Now”.
After this, you will see how much time is remaining for completion of the backup.

Using iTunes

Step 1: Connect iPhone to a computer using lightning cable.
Step 2: Launch “iTunes” on the computer.
Step 3: Select your iPhone.
Step 4: Tap on the symbol near to the iCloud to choose what you want to store backup to iCloud or on this computer.
Step 5: Click on “Back UpNow,” and thereafter the process will begin.

Check your lightning cable

Sometimes a defective cable can be a barrier for your device. It is advisable to check your lightning cable and use the original cable provided by Apple. Or you can clean the cable with some brush, and it may work.

Check Charger

We are using different sources to charge our device like a charger, computer, laptop, car charger and more. When such resources do not provide sufficient power and start to fluctuate then the iPhone will not take charge, and your device remains discharge.

Put your device in DFU Mode

DFU mode will deeply restore your iPhone, and this mode is specially made for unresponsive iPhone’s. You have to connect the device to a computer to perform this activity and using iTunes you can achieve your goal.
