For iPhone 8 or later,

  • Connect the iPhone to the PC, using a cable.
  • Press and quickly release the Volume Up button and then press and quickly release the Volume Down button.
  • Now press and hold the Side button, until you see lightning cable with Desktop/iTunes Icon on iPhone.

For iPhone 7/7Plus,

  • At first, connect iPhone 7 to Desktop using a cable.
  • Press and hold the Volume Down and Home button until Desktop/iTunes Icon appears on the iPhone.

For iPhone 6S or earlier,

  • Connect iPhone to Mac/PC using Apple provided cable.
  • Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and Home button, and release when Desktop/iTunes Icon displays on iPhone.

And when Restore/Update Option appears on the PC/Mac, then, click on Restore and follow the on-screen instructions and set up iPhone.

Solution 3: Restore iPhone in DFU Mode

The last option to fix iPhone stuck on Apple logo is to restore the iPhone in DFU Mode. Doing this, will remove your personal data and install the latest compatible iOS version on your iPhone. For iPhone 8 or later,

  • Connect the iPhone to Mac/PC and launch iTunes/Finder. Use the Apple Original Cable to connect iPhone to Mac/PC. Only use Finder if you have updated Mac to the latest macOS Catalina or later version.
  • If asked, then tap Allow on iPhone and give Access in your Mac/PC too.
  • Quickly press and release the Volume Up button.
  • Press and quickly release the Volume Down button.
  • Now hold the Side button until the iPhone screen turns black and press and hold the Volume Down button for 5seconds together and then only hold the Volume Down button.
  • Within a few seconds, Finder/iTunes will show that your iPhone is in recovery mode, click the Restore button.

For iPhone 7/7Plus,

  • After connecting iPhone to the Mac/PC using a Lightning cable, press and hold the Volume Down and Power button simultaneously.
  • Release the Power button after 10 seconds, don’t leave the Volume Down button until Desktop/Mac detects your iPhone.
  • Once Mac/PC shows a message that your iPhone has detected successfully and you see the Restore button, release the Volume Down button and click on Restore on iTunes/Finder.

For iPhone 6S Plus or earlier,

  • Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home button for 10 seconds, and release the Power button after 10 seconds.
  • When iTunes/Finder displays any message, then only release the Home button and click on Restore.
