Fix iPhone 12 Pro Max is Disabled Connect to iTunes [Fixed]

This is the normal situation for iOS users getting the screen “iPhone 12 Pro Max is disabled connect to iTunes.” In this situation, we can’t bypass the passcode on the lock screen or connect iTunes because we need to be an unlocked iPhone 12 Pro Max screen. But Apple gives a solution under the privacy; depends on the number of the wrong attempt, you should wait for a longer time. In the worst case, we need to restore iPhone 12 Pro Max in recovery mode.

There is a chance to unlock after the 1-minute wait

iPhone is Disable try again in 60 minutes

The numbers of guesses are 6, 7, 8, nine, and then you should try in 1, 5, 15, 60 minutes sequentially.

Remove iPhone X passcode using Recovery mode

Connect your iPhone to the latest version of iTunes on Mac or PC. You don’t know how to do it; you can also go to the apple support center.

After connecting your iPhone to Mac or PC, Force restarts iPhone X/8/8 Plus.

  • iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus: Quickly press and release volume up button, Quickly press and release volume down button. Now only press and hold side button on iPhone X, until you see recovery mode on screen.

On your Computer screen, the iTunes popup will say with the option for Update and Restore buttons.

2 Recovery mode on iPhone

Go to the Restore button and click on it.

iTunes will take up to 15 to 30 minutes to download the latest iOS firmware on Mac or PC. Also, your iPhone X will exit from recovery mode itself.

Once you have download the Firmware iOS file (Check to download status at the top right corner of iTunes).

Now repeat above Step 2 and Step 3 to restore iOS to the latest firmware and remove forgotten passcode.

3 Restore iPhone X to factory settings in recovery mode

Once wipe all data and install new software, set up a new iPhone X/8/8 Plus and use the Backup option as you wish (iCloud Backup or iTunes Backup). Then, go to restore an old backup and get back all data with a new passcode.
