🗓️ August 10, 2023 By ✍️ Jaysukh patelIn iOS 12, Voice memos app is redesigned on iPhone and now available on iPad in all models. So you may face trouble to use or find old app’s function in new Voice Memos app. Here I am going to show how to copy or Duplicate voice memos on iPhone, iPad in iOS 12 and Duplicate Voice memos On Mac with MacOS Mojave or later.
Voice Memos is improved with a lot more features like duplicating the file, more precise voice recording, clean sound, editing options and much more. We always want to have our original file remain safe and secure.
Eventually, if you are looking to edit the file, then you should not directly start editing the original file. If anything goes wrong you, it is difficult to recover if you begin editing in the original file. Instead, create the duplicate file of the original file and then enjoy editing without worrying because still, you have the original recording in your iPhone.
Let’s learn how to duplicate the Voice Memos on iPhone
- Step #1: Open up the “Voice Memos” app on your iPhone.
- Step #2: Select and “open the recording” of which you want to make a duplicate.
- Step #3: Now, hit the “three dots” below the recording.
- Step #4: Choose the “Duplicate” option.
That’s it! Once you will tap on the Duplicate option, it will create a duplicate file of the existing recording with postfix name …copy.
Note: we didn’t find way to duplicate voice memo on iPad. If you get, comment me on bottom cement box of this article.
