How to Create Personalized Contact Poster in iOS 17 on iPhone

Create a Contact Poster for yourself on iOS 17

Open the Phone App.
Select Contact from the bottom menu.
Tap on your User Card at the top.
Select Contact Photo & Poster Button.
From the next screen, enable the toggle next to Name & Photo Sharing.
Hit the Edit Button.
After this, select Customize and then tap on Poster Option.
In the Choose Your Poster menu, select one of the options mentioned below.

Camera: Allows you to capture the live photo for your contact poster.
Photos: This option allows to select the photo of your choice from the photo gallery.
Memoji: With this option, you can create a unique memoji for yourself.
Monogram: Add two characters of text of your preference.

In this procedure, we’ve used Memoji. But you can use any of the listed options. Now, choose Memoji and customize it accordingly.
After this, tap on the Contact’s Name right above the memoji’s poster to edit it. Now on the same screen, tap on More Options at the bottom right corner and check Depth Effect if you want it.
After this, swipe right to try various filters.
Once you finish it, tap Done at the right-top corner to save changes.

Create a Poster for your Contact in iOS 17

Besides creating a poster for yourself, you can also create a contact poster for your contacts. Remember, this will only be visible to you since you will create a contact poster for them as per your preferences. Here’s how.

Open the Phone app on your iPhone.
Search for Contact for which you want to create a poster. Tap on it.
After this, select Edit Button at the top right corner and select Add Photo or Edit below the contact photo.
If you haven’t yet configured a contact photo, choose the desired options (Camera, Photos, Memoji, and Monogram).

Again, select one from four options (Camera, Photos, Memoji, and Monogram).
Make changes as per your preferences and tap Done.
If the contact poster is as desired, hit the Continue Button.

How to Delete Contact Poster in iOS 17 on iPhone

If you’ve created multiple contact posters that you will no longer use, you can delete them by following the steps below.

Open the Phone App.
Select Contact from the bottom menu bar.
Now select your contact from the top. Or search and select the contact from which you delete the contact poster.
Tap on the Edit Button.
Select Edit button at the bottom of the contact poster. And then, you see all the contact posters you have created for that contact.
To delete, swipe up the desired contact poster.
When prompted to confirm, tap Delete.
