Create a Contact Poster for yourself on iOS 17

  1. Open the Phone App.
  2. Select Contact from the bottom menu.
  3. Tap on your User Card at the top.
  4. Select Contact Photo & Poster Button.
  5. From the next screen, enable the toggle next to Name & Photo Sharing.
  6. Hit the Edit Button.
  7. After this, select Customize and then tap on Poster Option.
  8. In the Choose Your Poster menu, select one of the options mentioned below.
  • Camera: Allows you to capture the live photo for your contact poster.
  • Photos: This option allows to select the photo of your choice from the photo gallery.
  • Memoji: With this option, you can create a unique memoji for yourself.
  • Monogram: Add two characters of text of your preference.

  2. After this, tap on the Contact’s Name right above the memoji’s poster to edit it. Now on the same screen, tap on More Options at the bottom right corner and check Depth Effect if you want it.

  2. Search for Contact for which you want to create a poster. Tap on it.
  3. After this, select Edit Button at the top right corner and select Add Photo or Edit below the contact photo.

How to Delete Contact Poster in iOS 17 on iPhone

If you’ve created multiple contact posters that you will no longer use, you can delete them by following the steps below.

  1. Open the Phone App.
  2. Select Contact from the bottom menu bar.
  3. Now select your contact from the top. Or search and select the contact from which you delete the contact poster.
  4. Tap on the Edit Button.
  5. Select Edit button at the bottom of the contact poster. And then, you see all the contact posters you have created for that contact.
  6. To delete, swipe up the desired contact poster.
