Keep read below steps details once, might be one wrong steps gives fail result.
Step 1: Keep ready some gif image on your drive or download images temporary for test purpose. Makegif great online source for choose favorite GIF.
Step 2: Download gifpaper, zip file format. Once you download extract there by double tap on it.
Step 3: From the extracted folder, run setup by right lick on “GIFPaperPrefs.prefpane“.
Note: Might you will got popup message like “app can’t open because of unidentified developer“. Sort out this problem, Just right click on setup file > Open > are you sure? Open.
Step 4: Once you install You can launch below screen directly on screen or To open it manually Go to the Apple icon > System Preference > GifPaperPref.
Browse gif picture only, located on your drive.
Scaling must not ‘none’.
Remove GIF or Set static picture on Desktop background
You can’t remove gif from desktop background. By set alternate static picture. First Go gifpaperPref screen and select none from scaling dropdown.
Then set any of the static picture as a desktop background.
