Prevent Viber from Saving Photos and Videos on iOS

Note: Some user interfaces have changed in the latest iOS update, but the settings are the same. Follow the steps below for the latest iOS version of the Viber app.

For Android, find the steps at the end of this tutorial.

1. Launch the latest Viber App from your iPhone Home screen. (If you are ready with the Viber app, ignore it and go to the next step.
2. Tap on the More (…) Option – you’ll see that the right-bottom side of the iPhone screen
3. Now touch Settings to look like the Gear icon – below Add Contact

4. Tap on Media – Appear at beneath of Calls and Messages
5. Now you get an option Save to Gallery under Media Section, it’s been turned on by default so do Turn off/ Disable save to Gallery.

That’s it. Now, whenever you get media messages, Photos, or Videos, they can’t be saved automatically, so now it is not a question of the Viber gallery being saved in the iPhone camera roll automatically.

1. Open the Viber App on Android mobile.
2. Tap on More Options and Scroll to the Settings option.
