In this post, we will show you three different ways to successfully transfer or sync Music from iPhone to Mac or PC.
Way #1. Syncing Music from iPhone to Mac using Apple ID (Mac)
Use the Sync library to enjoy the Music across various Apple devices with the same Apple ID. However, for this, you’ll need to reach out to some of the requirements.
To use the sync library, you’ll need a subscription to Apple Music
To sync your Apple Music library, you must have a subscription to Apple Music. Besides this, you can use iTunes Match to sync your Music Library. If you don’t find an option to enable Sync Library, it could be due to the following reasons.
- You haven’t subscribed to Apple Music or iTunes Match.
- Your Apple device isn’t signed in to the Apple Music app with the same Apple ID that you used with your subscription.
How to enable Sync Library on your Mac & iPhone
Step 1: Press Command + Space to access Spotlight search. Enter Apple Music and click on it to open.

Step 2: Click on Music in the Mac menu bar. From the menu, choose Settings…

Step 3: Go to the General Tab.
Step 4: Check the box next to Sync Library.
Step 5: For confirmation, click the OK button from the bottom right corner. Ensure that you enable Sync Music on your iPhone as well.

Enable Sync Library on your iPhone
Step 1: Open the Music App on your iPhone, running the latest iOS version. Tap on the Profile Icon at the top right corner.

Step 2: In the next screen, tap on Account Settings and ensure you’re signed with the same Apple ID you used during your Apple Music subscription.

Step 3: Now, Open the Settings App on your iPhone. Scroll down and tap on Music.

Step 4: On the next screen, enable toggle next to the Sync Library.

Step 5: That’s it.
Once you’ve enabled the sync library on your iPhone & Mac, you can stream your music library on any device that has Apple Music App. Ensure you are signed with the same Apple ID on your Apple peripherals.
Way #2. Using Airdrop (Mac)
