3 Ways to Add Reminder & Weather Widgets to Mac Desktop
You can add interactive widgets of Reminder & Weather in three different ways: by right click from the Notification Center & drag-drop widgets directly from Notification Center. We’ve covered all of them.
Way 1: Using the right-click
1→ On your Mac desktop, right-click on any empty spot.
2→ Click on Edit Widgets.
3→ From the Widget Gallery, search for Reminder or Weather Widget in the left sidebar.

Tip: If you want to change the size of your Reminder or Weather Widget, right-click on the Widget and select Large, or Medium, or Small.
Way 2: Using the Notification Center
- Click on Time next to the Control Center in the menu bar.
- At the bottom, select Edit Widgets Button. You will now have access to the Widget Gallery.
- Select the Reminder or Weather widget from the left sidebar.
- Click on desired Widget Style, then click on the Green + Icon. Alternatively, you can drag and drop it to Desktop.
Way 3: From Notification Center
If you’ve already added the interactive widget of Weather or Reminder in the notification center, you can directly drag-drop the widgets right from there; click on Time next to the Control Center in the menu bar. From the Notification Center, firmly drag and drop Reminder or Widgets to the desired location on the Desktop. That’s It!

If you feel an interactive widget of Reminder or Weather is no longer needed and are willing to remove it, Right-click on the Widget and then select Remove Widget from the prompt.
