Camera icon missing on iPhone or iPad? How to fix it

Fix #2. Enable iPhone Camera from Screen Time setting

if you can’t find the camera app on your iPhone or iPad. It’s most likely disabled by your device’s screen time setting. Please check screen time in the settings app, and check disabled app.

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap Screen Time (Enter screen time passcode if asked).
  3. Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions.
  4. Next, tap on Allowed Apps.
  5. Now Turn toggle Camera app ON from the list of apps.

Fix #3. Reset Home Screen layout on your iPhone

The camera icon missing and the Screen time settings not an issue. You should reset your phone home screen layout. You may know after resetting screen layout, all stock apps will go into their default factory placement, and all downloaded apps and folders will be alphabetized.

  1. Open Settings App
  2. Click General
  3. Scroll to Transfer or Reset iPhone
  4. Click Reset
  5. Hit on Reset Home Screen Layout
  6. Confirm Reset Home Screen Layout.

That’s it. Now go back to the home screen to check whether the Camera icon appears.
