Apple offers a family membership for $14.99 per month, which allows up to six members to use unique Apple IDs. This option provides access to Apple Music for just $5 more than an individual plan at $9.99 per month. You can change your subscription plan on both iOS and macOS devices.

How to Change Apple Music subscription plan
- Open the Settings App on your iPhone or iPad.
- Choose your Profile Name
- On this screen, click on subscriptions.
- Now, find the Apple Music tab.. In case of more than one service subscribed.
- Click on Manage > Tap on Family (1 month).

The verification pop-up will be displayed on the screen for the Family membership. It will be charged and activated immediately.

Steps to Switch to Apple Music Plan on Mac
Mac users can update their Apple Music subscription plan anytime from individual to Family or vice versa through iTunes.
Open iTunes on Mac.
From the Top tab under the Account > View Account
Login with Apple ID and Password

Profile info settings click; Go to Settings > Subscriptions > Manage
Click on Family (1 month) subscription by click on it.
And Then Done
Apple does not charge for a free trial now, but after three months, it will change on a monthly basis.
