You can connect the Trackpad using a keyboard in two different ways.

Way 1: Connect Trackpad Using The “Different” Keyboard Key

Step 1: Open “Spotlight search” by Pressing the “Command + Space” key on the keyboard.

Type “Bluetooth File Exchange” in the search bar and hit the return key on the keyboard to Open it.

Step 3Browse Document window appears. Press the “return key” to the Skip Browse Document window, and it will move to the “Bluetooth Device list” window.

Step 4: Next window with Bluetooth device list appears. Browse to your Trackpad using the arrow key on the keyboard.

To use Tab, you first need to Enable “full keyboard Access.” Therefore, follow the below steps to enable it.

Step 1: Select Apple Logo at the top and click on system settings.

Step 2: Next Select Accessibility.

Step 3: Click on the keyboard and EnableFull Keyboard Access” to shift between the different options using the “Tab key.”

  • Now press the “Command + Space” key to open the Spotlight search.
