Can I Install iOS 17 on iPhone 8, iPhone SE? Now What Should You Do?

Last year when we mentioned the iOS 17 compatible iPhone, we didn’t expect iPhone X to be on the list of iOS 17 compatible devices. No doubt, the performance, and other improvements were unbelievable. Likewise, we are expecting the same with iOS 17, aren’t we? The Apple nerds are following each feed related to iOS 17 from the very starting, and surely I am one of them. Officially announcement for iOS 17 points that as usual, the newer iOS update will bring some significant changes. Hopefully, Apple has noticed our wish-list and included those functionalities too.

If we talk about what are the iPhone which is compatible with iOS 17? Then there is no definite answer to this question, as Apple can do anything beyond our expectations. But still, people are curious about one question, Can I install iOS 17 on iPhone 8, iPhone SE? Our research says that iOS 17 will leave the old iPhone 8 and iPhone SE behind, so for the iOS 16 was the last official update available. However, iOS 17 will have advanced capabilities that would not support the old hardware of the iPhone 8; that’s why iPhone 8 will not support iOS 17 but iPhone SE 2nd Gen is a Supported iPhone.

Each iOS release apple takes care of different types of securities for System Security, Encryption and Data Security, App Security, Network Security, Apple Pay, Internet Service, User Password management, Device Controls, Privacy Control for old iPhone and iPad models. This time iPhone 8 Excluded from the supported Device list of iOS 17 compatibilities.
