#1- Force Quit the HotStar App on your iOS device
For user have Home button iPhone including iPhone 8 Plus/ iPhone 8/ iPhone 7 Plus/ iPhone 7/ iPhone 6S and old
Double-click on Home Button to open App Switcher then you need to swipe to the Upside HotStar App card to force close.

#2-Hard Restart your Device
Note: Hard Reboot doesn’t affect your device data and documents.
Steps to Force Reboot iPhone X and any face ID iPhones
- 1: Press and Quickly Release Volume Up button then
- Press and Quickly Release Volume Down Button then in last
- Press and Hold Side Button until you see the Apple logo on Screen.
To start the iPhone, again press the Side button until the startup apple logo is on the screen.
For iPhone 7/iPhone 7 Plus users: Press and hold on the Sleep/Wake + Volume Down button simultaneously until Apple Log appear
For iPhone 6S and old users: Pressing and holding on the Sleep/Wake + Home button at the same time.
#3- You Should Check for Update Hotstar App
For a while old version app makes your phone bricked. Hence, you must have the latest App version to get better performance and all the features smoothly. Let’s check out your Phone HotStar is up to date.
Apple iOS 13 and later users,
Go to App Store – Tap the Profile icon to appear on the upper-right side – now scroll down the screen and get the Update section underneath all available Update Apps lists to appear. Find the Hotstar app and install the latest update.
Then try to open the App to enjoy Live Streaming.
#4- Delete the Hotstar App and Re-download back
Tap and Hold on to the HotStar App icon until starts to jiggle. Now Tap on X to delete. After this, Open App Store and download it again.
#5- Contact the HotStar App Developer
None of the above solutions is helping you then you have the last chance that Contact the HotStar App Developer and report your issue.
