How to Downgrade iOS 17.1.1 Developer Beta to Public iOS on iPhone, iPad

Without Erase any Data and Settings let’s Downgrade or Switching from Developer Beta to Public iOS. Apple officially permits all iOS device users to use the Developer iOS 17 Beta version (First Edition after WWDC confirmation), on iOS 17 compatible models only. In the last tutorial, I cover the whole guide on Download and Install iOS 17 Developer Beta on iPhone/iPad or iPod Touch. Usually, the Developer iOS version is released with big to small bugs. Please, Careful about this and take the backup before starting the process for iOS installation. You are free to install Developer iOS any time in the future.

Apple’s partial formats for the new iOS release of iOS 17 are first you will get Developer Beta, then Public Beta version and Finally public.

Also, you can jump any version of iOS using the Downgrade or Upgrading steps.

Important Note: Don’t miss to Take Backup of your iPhone before Start Downgrading your iPhone or iPad

Steps for Download & Install iOS on iPhone, iPad

Keep ready with the latest version of the iOS 17 ipsw file. for your iPhone model. Move on to and download the ipsw file for your iPhone model name.

Once you download the iPSW file on your Mac Or PC/ Connect your iPhone to Finder on Mac/ iTunes on Windows PC. Your iPhone will appear on your Mac’s Finder/iTunes on PC. as you choose for Downgrade medium.

Open Finder on Mac or PC (Keep the latest version MacOS Catalina).

Connect your iPhone/iPad to Finder via lightning cable.

Your iOS device icon appears on the Finder sidebar > Click on iPhone name.

In your Device Summary page, you can see the “Restore iPhone” button. Click on the button with the Shift key (Windows) and Left Option key (Mac).

Select the downloaded ipsw firmware file and click on open to start the downgrading process. You are done!

Take a backup before you start downgrade, After that you can restore back all data from a recent backup. Although these tips switch to an older version of iOS without any data loss.
