To know your Mac Model, Go to the Apple Logo from the top Mac menu > About This Mac > See Mac device model under Overview section.

If you installed MacOS Beta then Remove MacOS Bata from Mac and Wait for a Public macOS update. Go to the Apple Logo > System Preferences > Software Update > Download and install all pending updates. That’s it.

Yes, FaceTime works on FaceTime Audio call and FaceTime Video Call as well. Don’t need a facetime video. But for that, the FaceTime app should be open on screen or your Device must be unlocked.
